Legislation (H.B. 4001) to repeal the requirement that all gasoline offered for sale in the state contain a percentage of ethanol will be considered by the Florida House Regulatory Affairs committee on Friday, March 22, 2013.  Currently, the Florida Renewable Fuels Standard requires that all gasoline sold or offered for sale by a terminal supplier, importer, blender or wholesaler in Florida contain 9-10 percent ethanol, or other alternative fuel, by volume.

Legislation (A.B. 3824) has been introduced in New York to require the issuance of only a single license plate for motor vehicles.  The bill, favored by state hobbyists, requires that the single registration plate be attached on the front of tractors and on the rear of all other vehicles.  The bill has been referred to the Assembly Transportation Committee for consideration.

The Evolution of the Corvette: Innovative Design from the C1 to the C7 StingRay.  We hitch a ride in a '57 Corvette to the Petersen Automotive Museum to catch the debut of the new 2014 C7 StingRay. At the museum we meet up with StingRay designer, Kirk Bennion, who walks us through a brief history of Corvette design from the car's introduction in 1953 through the body and design changes leading up to the current C6. Finally we pull the cover off the C7 and Bennion tells us why he believes the car deserves the StingRay name. Along the way, we see many rare Corvettes including the very first Motorama prototype, the race winning Grand Sport and one of the last C6 'Vettes ever built.
