The new shop, named COBB Tuning Socal, will be at the center of the LA import tuner scene in its Fountain Valley, CA location. COBB Tuning is happy to announce the re-release of the COBB Tuning Front Mount Intercooler for the MAZDASPEED3. The v2.0 FMIC for MAZDASPEED3 has been revised to give more clearance for the stock core support, oil-cooler lines and stock shift weight allowing for easier installation and less modification of your car! The COBB Tuning FMIC features 2.5-inch powder-coated charge tubes feeding a large “bar and plate” 24-inch x 3.5-inch x 7.9-inch aluminum core with blue 5-ply silicone couplers with T-bolt clamps plus everything you need for a simple and painless installation. While the revised boost tubes will clear the stock shifter weight, all COBB Tuning intercooler kits now come with the COBB Tuning lightened shifter weight for improved fitment and more precise shifting feel. 2006 to 2009 Honda Civic Si Gain 7.01 HP with K&N Air Intake System
The 2006 to 2009 Honda Civic Si were given a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The practical sport compact sedan has a responsive and quiet ride, but can transform into powerhouse when necessary. K&N Engineering has designed a high flow air intake system (69-1014TS) in powder coated silver for the 2006 Honda Civic Si 2.0 liter engine and the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Honda Civic Si 2.0 liter engine. K&N dynamometer testing shows a 7.01 horsepower gain on the 2007 Honda Civic Si @ 6700 RPM. The air intake tube has a CNC precision machined billet mass air adaptor and a radiused filter adaptor which smoothes the air flow entering the tube.
